My Journey to Thrive

After several years of different types of physical trauma, emotional pain, and the loss of my mother, I reached a breaking point in early 2024 when a severe illness forced me to confront my mortality. This pivotal moment led me to leave toxic environments and embark on a transformative journey through Asia, seeking healing and clarity.

 

Immersing myself in Ayurvedic therapies in India, mindfulness & meditation in Nepal, self-discovery in Thailand, Cambodia & Vietnam, and Reiki in the UK, I experienced profound synchronicities—encounters with symbolic wheels and sacred spaces—that awakened a deep spiritual connection.

Returning home, I felt liberated, grounded, and alive in ways I had never imagined. Reiki helped release years of stored trauma, while mindfulness and meditation allowed me to find peace and thrive in mind and body. This journey restored my well-being and inspired me to share these life-changing tools with others, helping them find balance, clarity, and freedom.

Recently, I have been living with Trigeminal Neuralgia and prolonged central nervous system sensitisation, a mental illness which continues to be misunderstood. This experience has been marked by intense pain, nervous system overwhelm, exhaustion, and periods of deep despair. Living through chronic illness profoundly changed my understanding of the connection between mind, body, stress, trauma, and healing.

At times, even everyday functioning became difficult, forcing me to slow down, rebuild, and reconnect with myself. Through mindfulness, meditation, nervous system regulation, Reiki, psychological insight, and deep inner work, I gradually found my way back toward stability and resilience.

 

This experience gave me a deep empathy for those living with anxiety, burnout, trauma, grief, chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, and physical suffering. I do not approach healing purely from theory — I understand what it feels like to lose yourself in pain, and what it takes to begin finding your way back again.
